LIP BLUSH
In November 2025 I decided to add another form of cosmetic tattooing to my service menu, Lip Blush.
Lip Blush is where pigment is implanted into the lip tissue to give more colour and definition to the lip area. It is perfect for those who's lip colour has lightened over the years, for those who want to fix any symmetry issues or for those who want to enhance their existing shape.
This is the perfect treatment to give a natural 'lift' and 'glow' to your complexion.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is Lip Blush good for?
Lip Blush is great for adding colour to the lip area that might have drained from our lips over time. As we age we lose colour from our lips which can make them look smaller, or slightly uneven. Lip Blush is ideal for correcting this and bringing a youthful look back to the lips. If you choose a colour similar to your natural tone, you'll have the most natural healed result.
Is it a form of Lip Filler?
The simple answer is no, it's completely different. Your natural lips will remain exactly the same after the procedure, apart from the added colour and refined shape.
Will my lips swell?
This is something that can happen to some clients, but not all. It is completely normal and nothing to worry about. Any swelling will subside after the treatment and your lips will go back to normal.
Can I have it done if I have Lip Filler?
Yes, you absolutely can. For those who do have Lip Filler already, Lip Blush is a perfect complimentary treatment to have alongside it. Sometimes with filler you can lose your natural lip border due to the skin being stretched. Lip Blush is the perfect way to put back that colour and enhance your Lip Filler treatment.
Will I get to choose a colour?
Yes you will be able to have a say in the colour choice. I will always advise what suits your skin tone and desired outcome best and will show you a few examples during the consultation.
What do I have to do in the lead up to my appointment?
You will need to keep hydrated the week before, apply a lip oil/balm as often as you can and exfoliate your lips if you have dry or dead skin.
If you are prone to coldsores then you will need to take a precautionary medication at least 2 days before, and afterwards, to prevent an outbreak. Aciclovir is recommended.
No caffeine, alcohol or blood thinners before your appointment, as with all permanent makeup.
PERMANENT MAKEUP IS FOR THOSE WHO ARE 18 YEARS OR OVER. YOU CANNOT HAVE IT DONE IF YOU ARE PREGNANT, BREASTFEEDING, ON BLOOD THINNERS OR UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF DRUGS OR ALCOHOL.
